Sometimes, you’ll want to pop a blog post up quickly, without having to open up Photoshop or Picmonkey or whatever you normally use to edit pictures. Did you know there’s a hidden feature in WordPress where you can crop, rotate and flip images without even leaving the blog post you’re writing, perfect for those quick touch ups?
First, upload the image that you want to include in your post
Once it’s uploaded, go to the “Edit image” link under the thumbnail to the right of the page
This will open up the Edit Image screen, where you can resize the image.
To crop your image, simply highlight the area you want to keep then click the crop button, then save.
While it’s not perfect, it’s great for those quick touchups and resizing when you’re in the middle of writing a post.
Helpful! Thanks!
