How to Quickly Add Special Symbols into WordPress Posts
It can’t insert emoji (yet) but if you’re looking for an easy way to write a Copyright symbol (©), an arrow (⇒) or maybe even something cute like a triangle (∇) or a heart (♥) then the Special Character button is about to become your new friend.
The Special Character symbol lives on the second line of the WordPress toolbar:
Once you’ve clicked it, a little window will pop up with an array of characters for you to choose from. Just select the one you want, click it and it’ll automatically be inserted into your post for you.
♥ Voila! :) A really simple way to insert a special character into your WordPress posts :) They’re also scalable icons, so you can use them in your header styles too, and they’ll increase in size to compensate.
