For self hosted WordPress users, there’s no end to the type of pop up plugins available to them (We like Popup by Supsystic, but there are tons out there for you to try out!). For Blogger users…well, it’s a little more difficult. You could, of course, learn how to code and create your own little pop up. But why not spend that time more productively when someone else has already done the hard work for you and created MiloTree.
MiloTree is a pop up that can be embedded on most platforms and allows you to show off Pinterest, Instagram or Facebook accounts. Since you don’t have to connect your account to the pop up, you could promote any account you liked – here’s what the pop up for our Instagram account would look like.
The lite version allowing you to show off the networks you care about is free, but will show the MiloTree branding. If that’s a dealbreaker for you, then you can pay for more features including the branding removal for $6 a month.
Installation is super easy, and there are instructions for the following platforms:
- WordPress
- Bigcommerce
- Blogger / Blogspot
- GoDaddy Website Builder
- Shopify
- Squarespace
- Weebly
However, you won’t be able to install this onto a WordPress.com site as they select specific plugins that users can enable. The instructions are super clear as well and very basic, so anyone will be able to install them without any problems!
Have you tried this plugin? What do you think of it?
