Last week, we ran a quick little Twitter poll about automatic direct messages that people send when you follow them on Twitter.

95% of those people who answered the poll said that they either ignore the posts, delete them or – more drastically – they unfollow the person straight away. We’ve covered before whether the auto DM’s are useful, and how to get rid of them.
