This was in response to an increasing amount of posts on Instagram that only a certain percentage of your followers will see a new post, so if followers wanted to see the posts, they should like and comment “Yes” on the post they saw asking them to do so.
This isn’t a bad idea though – the way the Instagram algorithm works is that accounts that you like and comment on more will appear first in your timeline, because Instagram is assuming that if you are liking and commenting on the post, you like that account, and you will want to see more posts from them.
