We’ve been a little quiet about #blogclub on here lately, but it’s still going on and growing each time! Last week, we headed to Trunki, who are based in central Bristol, for an after work chat about working!
Pretty much everyone seems to know who Trunki are, even if they don’t have children, but if you don’t, then you’ll probably recognise the iconic ride along suitcases…
(Apparently one of the most asked questions is “When will you do an adult version” – that was totally our question as well!)

We were at Trunki to talk business, and were very lucky to have Charlotte from Black Heart Creatives and Fritha from Tigerlilly Quinn to talk about how they make a living online.
Charlotte sells acrylic jewellery (you might remember the giveaway we did with her last year!) and Fritha has a shop of beautiful things as well as earnings through sponsored posts, advertisements, etc. We also had Mel from Trunki talking about what a brand is looking for when they’re hunting out new bloggers to work with. Although most of the #blogclub attendees are not parenting bloggers, it was still useful information to us all as it was a really interesting insight into the “other side” of the brand/blogger relationship.
What happens when you let bloggers loose around sugar – lots of photos!
Jo at She and Hem popped up a pretty speedy post about #blogclub
Charlotte posted about #blogclub on her blog, sharing some of the tips that were discussed
Megan – Briar Rose mentioned it in her post about Bristol Fashion Week (last week was lovely and busy for us Bristol based babes!)
Charlie mentioned it in her round up post of the week
Emily posted about the evening over on her blog
Lily posted about #blogclub on her blog (just moved to self hosting so give it a visit!)
Katy posted about travelling for an hour to get to #blogclub (hopefully it was worth the journey!)
(If you post about #blogclub , let us know so this list can be updated!)
Trunki also posted, expanding on what was discussed at #blogclub with a few tips about what brands are looking at when they look at your blog and they also popped a few photos up on their Facebook page.
