When Sophie and I started #blogclub in January 2014, our original aim was to bring bloggers together to talk about the things that you probably don’t have anyone else in your life to talk with – things like where the best spots for taking outfit pictures was (and the difficulties in getting someone else to take the photos for you!) and how to take part in Twitter chats. Each event was to have a part of the time to be allocated to discussing a certain topic, time for random chats, and a bit of time to actually work on your blog.
As time went on, we evolved into hosting events where there was more of a focus on specific topics, like the SEO event we did with True Digital or the flower crown creating event we helped Crown and Glory host. We love doing these sort of events, but they take a lot more organisation to find places to host the event and it meant that we weren’t organising things as much as we would like to.

So we asked in the Facebook group whether people would be interested in having more regular, casual events, and thankfully, lots of them said yes! We headed to the Cosy Club in Bristol and had a great catch up over lots of delicious food and lots of coffee (and a few sneaky espresso martinis!). It’s always good to get together with bloggers, whether we’ve known them for years or it’s their first event, and we can’t wait to host more brunches.
Keep an eye out on the #blogclub Facebook group to hear about future meetups!
