It’s that time of year when the stationery stores are filled with new diaries, both for academic years and also for the new year. We were asked to review a diary from Busy B, and chose the Busy Life diary.
The unique feature of this diary is the weekly view – instead of one week over two pages, you get a week to a page, so you can separate the same week out between home and work, or personal and school, or in our case, home and blog planning.
The diary is well laid out, and uses good paper that worked well with the pens we prefer (the ones in the pictures are Le Pens Fluorescent). The monthly spreads at the start of the diary are really useful for planning your months content.
We loved the thoughtful touches in this – the pen loop, the section at the back of the diary so you could slot in your own little notebook or the sticky pads that Busy B also sell, even the pages that can be found every few months which have a little pocket to store loose paper and that have gridded paper (which is awesome for to do lists, bullet journals and habit diaries!)
It’s a decent size to fit into your handbag, but isn’t so small that you’ll be cramped up trying to squeeze in all your details. The elastic strap will help to keep it all together so nothing will fall out
In previous years, we’ve gone for the Moleskine diaries, but this is much more useful for the average blogger who wants to be able to plan out content at any time. The Busy B Busy Life Diary can be bought from the Busy B website or from Amazon for about £10.
