For those of you who still can’t bear to splash out on Photoshop, Picmonkey is pretty amazing for tweaking your blog photos (Need a reminder? Check out this post about Picmonkey!) – but what about when you need to create an image from scratch?
Previously, we used to have a plain white jpg saved and would upload it into Picmonkey and use that as a canvas when needed, but with the fabulous Design feature, it’s as easy as clicking a button!
The design feature was created with bloggers like us in mind. It’s just so easy to create a brand new image – you can even have a transparent background so you could create a watermark to lay over images in the future. They even have certain image sizes all ready and waiting for you to create something amazing.
Here’s an example of an image that took just a few minutes to create.
It actually took longer to choose the two different fonts than to create the whole thing! This was using the Santaland theme which had a few more extras than usual that were useful to create this invite.
What will you use this feature for?
(Thank you to everyone who came to the quiz last night, and congratulations to the winning team, made up of Josephine, SJ, Lily, Jo and Victoria! To find out about the next one, make sure you like the South West Bloggers Facebook page.)
I love Picmonkey, I used it to create my header on my blog!

I love Picmonkey! I use it to edit photos and make the featured images for my posts. I had a play around with the design feature and made a fantasy letter, I would have added it to this comment but you dont use Disqus.
