We were so excited by this news – Polyvore, our favourite collaging website, is now available on your iOS device as an app! It’s been on the iPhone for a while, but they’ve just made the app an universal one, so you can get collaging on the bigger screen of your iPad easily.
You can browse through trends and other peoples sets from the main screen, but it’s the create button that we’re most interested in!
The screen where you go to make your collage is clear and clutter free, ready to put outfits, etc together.
The search function is really easy to use, and allows you to search for something specific, or just browse through the categories
The filter allows you to filter the results by store, price, etc which is useful if you’re focusing on a certain store for a blog post.
Of course, you can still add your own items using the Polyvore Clipper and they’ll appear in the “My Items” section.
You can easily move around items by holding on them and dragging about, and to make them bigger and smaller, you just pinch as if you were zooming. It’s a fairly intuitive app – which is useful as there didn’t seem to be any introduction tutorials to show you what to do.
The app looks just as good on the iPhone, and is still just as easy to use. We love the trends tab on the shop, as it shows you lots of different items in the same sort of category
