A slightly different type of blogger network to the ones we normally post about, but we know there’s a large amount of bloggers reading this who write about their children and would fall into the category that the Mumsnet Blogger Network covers.
For those who don’t know, Mumsnet is a community for parents to share information and experiences, and the blogger network is really a good expansion of this as so many people will share this information on their own blogs.
When bloggers post a new post, then their post will appear on the live feed and could be picked as a featured post or even as Blog of the Day which is a great way for people to find new blogs, as well as giving bloggers good exposure.
To join, bloggers are asked to abide by the Editorial Guidelines and Terms of Use that Mumsnet has – they’re pretty reasonable rules, like don’t just spam your blog link everywhere, make sure it’s relevant to the thread you’re posting in, make sure your blog isn’t just all reviews (because they want to focus on building a network of interesting articles, not just reviews of things you’re sent) etc.
If you do sign up, then you’ll be asked to put the Mumsnet Bloggers Network review widget or badge on your blog – it’s not a requirement, but can influence decisions on which blogs to feature!
