You guys seemed to love our last cheap blog ideas post, so we thought we’d share another few ideas with you to give you a bit of inspiration without breaking the bank.
If you’re a beauty blogger (or even if you’re not – it’s interesting to see!), you could do posts like working out how much your daily face of makeup is worth. You might be surprised at the answers! You could also talk about what you’ve got in your makeup bag or the classic post of whats in your bag. If you’ve used something recently that just didn’t deserve the hype, maybe make a series out of that? Blogs are about honest reviews – your readers do want to know what you disliked as well as what you’ve loved!
If you love to take photos, a regular series about a day in your life, where you take a photo every hour, is always interesting
If you’re as addicited to your phone as we are, tell your readers what apps you can’t live without. (And if you need a little inspiration, here’s our iPhone and Android versions) and of course, you can always share where you blog from (and here’s ours!). If you love Instagram, why not share some of your favourite accounts for others to follow? (Here’s our one – but there will be more!)
People always love to know about new places to visit, so why not share favourite places in your city. You could do things like five amazing cafes, five fabulous shops, five boozy bars – whatever you like!
Last on today’s list is telling people how you ended up in your chosen career. Especially at the time of year, many students are starting to think about their futures, and you might help to influence someone.
What are your fall back posts?
Thanks for these ideas! Sometimes it’s hard to think of posts that don’t involve buying something or going somewhere (not always ideal when work is busy).
Great ideas, these are the sort of nosy posts that I love reading!
