When you go to a meetup, it can be a little daunting to not just go up to people you don’t know and talk to them, but to then give them details of where they can find you online. Before having cards to give out was popular, we’d take a notebook along to an event and get people to write their details down.
Thankfully, because it’s so long winded to do that, many bloggers like to buy business cards with their details on. One of the most popular places to buy your cards from is moo.com♦. We’ve used them a few times to buy various cards, and thought we’d share with you our latest batch!
We made our cards with Picmonkey – we told you it was our favourite image editing site! – the smallest image that Moo recommends is 874 x 378 pixels, but we used an image twice that size to make sure there would be no issues with the trim area (when the cards are made, there is a certain amount on each card that gets trimmed off. We decided to go with cards that had images on both sides so we could have the same colour and font giving our contact details as we use in our header.
It’s super easy to make cards with Moo. The cards we have here are the famous MiniCards♦, and will cost you about £16 for 100 cards including delivery.
Have you ever used Moo to create your blog cards or have you made yours with a different site or even made them yourself?
Big fan of Moo! Their mini cards always get a nice compliment when I hand them out.
Ooh you’ve convinced me to give moo a go! Thank you :-)
