Five Blog Designers

If you’re feeling like your blog needs a bit of a TLC or a complete makeover, we’ve rounded up a few of our favourite designers. We’ve tried to cover all price ranges, tastes and most of these will work on both Blogger and WordPress layouts so there’s no excuse not to give your blog a new outfit!

Blog Milk has a lot of Blogger and WordPress layouts ready to buy – just click the buy button, and install it yourself with the included instructions. This is great if you’re confident enough to do that, but they’ll also install it for you for an added cost if you want.

Kim Lawler Creative (the web design side of one of our favourite shops, Finest Imaginary) also specialises in WordPress and Blogger layouts, but everything is custom made for you. This can be a little more expensive, but you’re sure to get exactly what you want. (We’ve heard that Kim is currently working on a new layout for one of the most popular – and one of the nicest! – bloggers in the UK, we can’t wait to see!)

Kaelah Bee recently redesigned Becky Bedbug‘s blog which we mentioned in last weeks Saturday Summary. Here are a few more examples of some designs from earlier in the year but we’re loving the bold graphic look!

Scheine deals with Blogger layouts, and is on the more affordable end of the scale but that doesn’t mean lacking in beauty! Just look at that layout – it looks super summer-y!

Finally, we had to tell you about ElevatorMusik because Gillian is behind so many of our favourite blogs layouts. Unfortunately, she’s not currently doing any custom designs (good luck with your studies!) but she told us that she’s planning to create some pre-made templates to sell so you’ll hopefully be able to get those soon!

There are, of course, hundreds of thousands of designs and designers out there that one blog post isn’t enough, so we’ve been collecting some more designs on our Pinterest board all about blog layouts.
