You might be wondering why your favourite Tumblr accounts aren’t showing up in your Bloglovin’ at the moment.
Tumblr has blocked all of their blogs from @Bloglovin http://t.co/Z6KQq96HUX. Please tweet @tumblr @davidkarp @marissamayer

Bloglovin’ announced this week that Tumblr have blocked their access to keep track of new posts. As a user of both sites, it’s a pretty strange choice. Bloglovin’ is essentially an RSS feed reader, but instead of collecting each post, Bloglovin’ directs you to the blog post in an iframe – so driving more traffic to the website.
VentureBeat is the only site we were able to find with a more detailed description of the problem. Apparently a Tumblr spokesperson said that Bloglovin’s access was stopped because Bloglovin’ would not remove specific features that directed traffic away from Tumblr. Neither Bloglovin’ nor Tumblr are saying anything at the moment.
If you’re a Tumblr fan, then for now, you’re probably best to catch up with your favourite posts either through the Tumblr dashboard, or by using a standard RSS feed reader (we love Feedly!)
childish bloglovin’, just childish.
Looks like it’s time for me to check out this feedly…
