Eleanor from threewordoutfit.com contacted us about an article she’s writing at the moment for the academic journal Sociologica Del Lavoro. The journal is going to produce a special edition later on in the year about free and unpaid work in the digital age which will be discussing questions like “What does it mean to work online?”, “Are the structures the same as in regular, ‘real life’ employment?” and “How much does social interaction contribute to online work?”
Eleanor’s article is about fashion bloggers, their blog projects and their ‘work’, based on research she conducted in 2011 as part of her Masters thesis. There aren’t lots of academics researching fashion bloggers at the moment, so helping with this survey means you’re contributing to cutting-edge research – pretty awesome!
If you’re interested in helping, you can find the survey here. The survey will take around an hour and is completely anonymous. It’s based in Google Forms, so you’re not able to save it and come back to it, but if you have any questions, you can ask Eleanor about the research and survey by tweeting her @ebsnare or emailing hello@threewordoutfit.com
