We’ve shared previously about the Amazon Associates affiliate scheme, which is open to pretty much everyone – it’s pretty rare for Amazon to reject a blogger.
Amazon have recently created an Influencer program which creates a landing page for the influencer to link to their favourite products and earn a percentage of qualifying purchases
If you’re already signed up to their affiliate scheme, then you just need to log in at affiliate-program.amazon.com/influencers. You’ll then need to connect your most popular social media account (from YouTube, Twitter, Instagram and Facebook) to verify yourself, then you can set up your account by adding your other accounts. You’ll also need to provide a page title, tagline and a profile picture, then the next stage is to set up your address and payment details (which is a little frustrating as Amazon obviously already has this information from your affiliate account)
At the moment, the Amazon Influencer scheme is only available to US people (as it will only allow a US phone number to be inputted – again, odd, as it will accept a UK address!) but keep an eye out for expansion!
Just expanded to the UK
