What is your blog about? Hi, my name is Madah and I am a Shopaholic. I love fashion, and I have a lot of opinions. I am an American of Pakistani descent, with Indian roots, an Afghan heritage, and British by marriage…I’ve lead quite a nomadic lifestyle and I believe it reflects in my style. I have been travelling to different countries since I was a baby. After living in four out of the seven continents, I have had the pleasure of incorporating and adapting different traditions into my looks.

Is this your first blog? This is not my first blog, but I hope to grow it until it becomes my very last. As morbid as that sounds…

When did you start your current blog? I first began blogging (way) more than a decade ago on Xanga, what started out as a medium to vent my teenage angst quickly evolved into a documentation of my personal anecdotes, ponderings, and style. After a brief hiatus, I came back to blogging because sometimes 140 characters on Twitter or a little square on Instagram just aren’t enough.

What made you do it? I love getting a chance to look back and reflect on how my style has evolved.

What was your first blog post about? My covet list off the runway!

What do you think is the most useful tool to you as a blogger? I am very old school in that I value good writing – great content more than networking and promotions.

Do people in your real life know about your blog? If yes, has your blog helped you career wise? I have kept my blog a secret for the most part.While I still work in PR, I am blessed to be working from home so I can be a more hands-on mom, to my beautiful little girl and adorable baby boy. They’re my very own little dolls to play dress up with!

What has been the one thing (blog post, project, etc) that you have been really proud of? I don’t care to ascribe to a single identity or cause, whether it’s a revolutionary new makeup product or current affairs, I will unequivocally let you know my stance.

Where do you see your blog in a year? Hopefully with more diverse posts tackling lifestyle issues.

What do you wish you knew when starting your blog? To be consistent!

What do you wish you know more about now? I would love to connect with other SAHMs and cater to their questions.

How do you keep motivated to post? I LOVE fashion and I love writing – what better way to share my two passions than to blog?
