What is your blog about?
Teenage Fashion UK is a Fashion, Beauty and Lifestyle blog. I write about favourites, hauls and other posts that are fashion and beauty related. I also throw in some lifestyle posts as well.

What made you do it?
I was home one day because I was ill. I was super bored so I started thinking of things to do when the thought of creating a blog crossed my mind. I only did it at first for a bit of fun. But after a while my blog started to receive a lot more attention than I imagined and it turned into a more full-time thing.
What was your first blog post about?
My first ever blog post was an introduction to what Teenage Fashion UK was about actually. But topic wise, my first proper post was a fashion post called ‘Flower Power’ about floral prints. It was very short but hey, I was new to that kind of stuff.
What do you think is the most useful tool to you as a blogger?
Picmonkey. I dont know what I’d do if I didn’t have Picmonkey. It is so handy.
Do people in your real life know about your blog? If yes, has your blog helped you career wise?
It really has helped me career-wise. When I first started this blog I didn’t think I would get far with it. But as time passed, I realized this was something I really enjoyed doing and wanted to do in the future. I decided to expand my writing and start doing work for other online magazines. That has really helped my writing grow and led me to events I never thought I would attend until now. Its been rather crazy.
What has been the one thing (blog post, project, etc) that you have been really proud of?
When I attended London Fashion Week in September 2014. I was such a nervous wreck as I’m not good with new people. I’m such a shy person so I tried not to make eye-contact or get in anyone’s way. They looked so much older and classier than me but I tried to fit in. I’m so proud of it though. I’ll never forget that.
Where do you see your blog in a year?
In a year I would love to see Teenage Fashion UK become a bigger name. I dont care about the potential earnings or anything to do with that, my readers are my main priority. I would love for people to see the potential in my blog and help me grow Teenage Fashion UK. I really love hearing feedback. I ask friends and family all the time!
What do you wish you knew when starting your blog?
I wish I knew how to take proper pictures! And not with my smartphone! My old photography wasn’t as good as today, I must admit that.
What do you wish you know more about now?
I’m not sure really. I think I’m still learning so much. I wish my technology skills was a bit better though.
How do you keep motivated to post?
I honestly dont know. I just love writing so much. Everywhere I go I get loads of post ideas. I just love buying makeup and reviewing them. Buying clothes and taking pictures of them. I love taking part in stuff and getting my writing out there. That’s what motivates me I suppose. Knowing that people are actually reading my posts.
