When did you start your current blog? 29th December 2011
What made you do it? I wanted to become the next Carrie Bradshaw, haha! No, I wanted to learn to write correctly and maybe give people a chuckle and I wanted to write about things that mattered to me.
What was your first blog post about? Entitled “What do you want to do with your life”. It’s in the title really – I wrote about my life and not getting far with my career and not knowing why.
What do you think is the most useful tool to you as a blogger? Google Drive because I can share my pictures on the drive from my phone and they are they on the computer. And Chrome as everything is synced up.
Do people in your “real life” know about your blog? Yep I invided them all to my facebook page don’t know whether to read it or not but some do.
If yes, has your blog helped you career wise? We shall see as I had an interview recently and gave them my card (they asked about my interests and hobbies, I didn’t just thrust my card at them. That would have been weird!). They were a little shocked but in a good way.
What has been the one thing (blog post, project, etc) you’ve been really proud of? I’m proud of my photography skills. I have really become interested in photography so getting great clear shots are always a proud moment.
Where do you see your blog in a year? Hopefully with a few sponsors and just really creating great content. I also want to go to Cybher next year.
What do you wish you knew when starting your blog? How hard it can be. And you need to use social media otherwise you won’t really get anywhere.
What do you wish you know about now? More technical stuff, it boggles my mind!
How do you keep motivated to post? Being able to get things I’m thinking onto paper. Blogging for the soul really teehee
