What is your blog about?
With my blog I want to encourage people to live the life they want, make their dreams come true and not to care what other people think about them.
I blog about things that I’m feeling passionate about. So usually I post about arts, style, relationships but also almost anything about lifestyle. I’m all the time working for my dreams and I want to inspire others to work for their dreams too.
Is this your first blog?
Yes, this is my first blog.
When did you start your current blog?
I started this blog in July 2014.
What made you do it?
I was working in a local newspaper then and I loved it, but I also felt like I want to do something on my own. I wanted to decide myself what kind of content I’m writing.
I really felt like I have something to share and I think that with my blog I can inspire people. Starting my blog is propably one of my best decisions ever.
What was your first blog post about?
I was introducing myself and told that this blog is one dream coming true. It’s not the most useful post on my blog :D But the same day I wrote an article about how important it is to always be yourself. I think that one was already better.
What do you think is the most useful tool to you as a blogger?
Twitter and Bloglovin’ are the most useful tools. With those tools I can network with my audience and with other bloggers and brands. I also can promote my own posts on both of them.
Do people in your real life know about your blog?
Yes
If yes, has your blog helped you career wise?
No it hasn’t helped me yet, but I think it’s because I started my blog just couple months ago. I’m a journalist and writer so I’m not keeping my blog secret. I’ve noticed that some magazines and brands have started to follow me on Twitter because of my blog, so I think that someday my blog will really help me with my career too.
What has been the one thing (blog post, project, etc) that you have been really proud of?
I’m proud of my blog everytime someone comments on my blog post and tells me that it was really exactly what he/she needed. I want to help people and make them feel better so when someone tells me my post is helpful, I’m very proud.
Where do you see your blog in a year?
In a year the content of my blog is going to be more professional. The pictures will be better too since I’m trying to learn photographing right now. I also hope that with the help of my blog I could self-publish a book and really do something to encourage people to make their dreams come true.
What do you wish you knew when starting your blog?
I hope someone has told me that you can’t do this just on your own. You have to network with other bloggers. You can ask advice for them and they really know what you are going through. So network!
What do you wish you know more about now?
I’d like to learn more about how to use Pinterest in a more productive way. Also web designing is something I want to learn more about.
How do you keep motivated to post?
The most important thing is to write about things you are interested in. I don’t have this one particular niche, because it would be so hard for me to write just about this one thing. I would be fed up wit blogging very soon.
So I write only about things I feel passionate about.
Sometimes I have blogger’s block too. Then I read other blogs, newspapers, books or just go for a walk. The great ideas won’t show up if you just sit on your computer and stare the empty screen.
Anything else you’d like to add?
If you want to have a blog, start it. It’s not that hard. The hardest part is to stay true. You have to write about what you want to write. If you don’t get excited about fashion, don’t write about it. Even when everyone else is writing about it, don’t do it if you don’t want to. If you love classical music or comic books, write about them. Always do your own thing.
