Some people are able to make money from their blog. Some of those people are able to earn enough from it to turn it into a full time income for themselves, and sometimes even allows them to employ others.
Blog earning reports have been around for as long as bloggers have been able to monetise their blogs and it’s a good way for a blogger to disclose to their readers how they have made money that month as some of their readers will be interested in it.
Blog earning reports are a good idea for the blogger because it allows them the chance to reflect on the past month – what worked, what could be improved on, etc. Of course, you don’t have to publish these reports to be able to take advantage of the idea but it can be interesting to your readers and they may even be able to give you advice on what to look at in more detail – for example, you may have an ad network on your site but not realise that it’s redirecting every reader away from every other page that they click on.
It’s a beneficial thing for your readers as well as they can gain real world advice – it’s all very well talking about different affiliate schemes but blog earning reports can go into detail about specific retailers that have worked well that month.
It can also be a source of inspiration for both the blogger and the readers to be able to take a look back at the reports – how did you do this time last year?
What do you think – would you consider publishing a blog earning report?
