Saturday Summary

Hola kids! It’s Sarah from Falling Forward taking over the Saturday Summary today (Hayley has been busy running a 10k in the heat to raise some money for charity – you can sponsor her here btw ;) )

First up, Kevin at Closet Cooking has created a recipe from most of my favourite foods: avocado, sweetcorn and cheese. A guacamole remix with Mexican corn – looks yum!

Sarah at Essbeevee has posted her June installment of Books Are Amazing! and this time her guest poster is Sarah from Scandinavian on the Inside. Loads of books to add to my to-read list here! :)

Bee at Like A Skeleton Key has written a drool inducing review of her visit to Five Guys in London. Need to get down there to taste those burgers, they look amazing! :)

Elly from Elly Says Opa has posted a gorgeous looking plum and raspberry sorbet recipe. Perfect for summer :)

My beautiful husband has written an update on the challenges he set himself this year over at Light in a Digital Shade. Spoiler: he’s going to drop a few of them! :)

Amy from Amerz blogged about a BBQ and a weekend in Wales (my favourite combo but I might be slightly geographically biased…)

Alison at Bluish Orange reposted these animal photobombs on her Tumblr. I think the underwater one is my favourite!

Gretchin at The Happiness Project talked about how to recognise if you’re being tricked by a mental rule of thumb – a really interesting read! :)

Not ashamed to admit that I love Thug Kitchen, but be warned – it’s a bit sweary. If you’re feeling hot this recipe for citrus iced tea should help to cool you down.
& finally, this sweet 4th of July post from photography duo Arrow & Apple makes me want to eat hot dogs and grill copious amounts of meat.
