A contender for rewardStyle’s liketoknow.it has appeared, which is great news for those bloggers who have been unsuccessful in getting accepted onto their network.
Shopsense by Shopstyle have created shopstyle.it, which works in the same way as liketoknow.it
You can check out examples of how other bloggers are using ShopStyle.it by checking out the Instagram hashtag #SHOPSTYLEit.
In our experience, the links worked a lot better than the liketoknow.it ones – where you copy the URL in the caption into a new browser window. LikeToKnow.it has always brought up a message saying “There was an error loading the content” (at least in Chrome), but ShopStyle.it worked fine. Copying the URL into your browser also allows the user to add products to a favourites list or get a sale alert, which is useful if you already use the site to remind yourself of things you like or to get a reminder when the product becomes cheaper!
To create your lists, you would need to download the ShopStyle app – you add the items you want to include in one post to a list, then share the list on ShopStyle.it (on iPhone, this was the Instagram icon). You’re asked to take a photo or choose one from your phone, then just follow the instructions to post the image in Instagram. The caption should automatically fill itself in.
