Please do not leave additional links in your comments unless it is relevant to the blog post. All comments left will automatically link to your website in the name section and also at the end of the comment. Please do not leave any affiliate links in your comments. We reserve the right to edit any comment to remove any extra links from comments.
Moderation
All comments from first time commenters go automatically into the moderation queue. We try to get them approved as quickly as possible, but please be patient! After your first comment is approved, and you use the exact same name/email combination, all future comments will post straight away. If your comment is detected as spam, we go through the spam filter on a daily basis, so will make sure it gets picked up! If it does, please send us a tweet to make us aware!
Spam
We try to keep on top of comments on a daily basis. We use Antispam Bee to do most of the hard work for us.
Manners
The first rule of blogging should be Don’t be a Dick. Keep this in mind when commenting – what sounds funny to you might not be so hilarious to someone else that doesn’t know you or your humour. Please try to be polite in your comments and to other commenters. All opinions are welcome but there is a difference between constructive criticism and just being rude! It probably goes without saying, but libelous, insulting and anything we deem inappropriate will be deleted (and you will be informed via email)
WordPress comments require you to provide an email address to leave a comment. At the moment, your email address will only be used to let you know when someone has replied to your comment. We may, in the future, use your email address to let you know of any news on the site, but we promise never to give your information out to anyone else.
